Halloween Cake...Yummy!!
My Mom asked me to make a Halloween Cake for her work...this is what I came up with! I think it turned out really cute! I made little spiders with peanut M&M's....the only bad thing is..I don't get to eat it! LOL So, I made us some cupcakes! So, that's what I've done today..not much!
Still haven't heard about the job...at this point I can't take it anyway because of daycare so if anyone knows of someone really good please let me know just in case!!
It's almost been one year since we moved into this house! It doesn't seem like it's been that long since we went through the whole process of building our house and then having to walk away from it..then finding this house! It wasn't everything we wanted but it was what we needed. We knew we were only going to be here for 5 years so we decided to take it. And now, it's home. I'm comfortable here..sure, I miss the kitchen we built..oh and the master closet!! LOL But, for the most part...I'm happy with it! We will build again...and this time..it will be done right if Mike has to do it himself!! LOL
Okay...time to frost the cupcakes! Hope everyone has a very Happy Halloween!!

The cake looks amazing!!! Awesome job!
Oh my gosh! That cake looks soooo yummy! Where did you say your mom works again???? LOL If you need a good day care on the East side of Wichita I can hook you up and I bet you might even know her. She scrapbooks a lot too. Anyways she is always doing crafts with the kids and they do their own Christmas presents for their parents. Sherry is great. I always hear her talk about her daycare kids like they were her own and she cares about them very much. Just drop me an email and I'll get you her number if you need it. I hope you hear something about the job soon. Did you call them, you know "The squeaky wheel gets the grease" saying. all they could tell you is you get the job or you didn't. Hopefully the latter. Maybe you could find something better than that one anyway, if they have hired someone else, or like he said there will be other openings. Keep your fingers crossed. But not while you are decorating any more of those cupcakes.
